The end of 2024 holds a major surprise in store for fashion lovers: an exceptional collaboration between Kenzo, the iconic Parisian fashion house, and Verdy, a Japanese artist renowned for his bold graphic universe.
This alliance, orchestrated under the artistic direction of Nigo, is a cultural dialogue between East and West, combining Parisian sophistication with the dynamism of Japanese streetwear.
Presented at the Spring-Summer shows in Paris and Shanghai, this collection reflects a contemporary and playful aesthetic, where each piece becomes a wearable work of art. Verdy infuses his unique touch, inspired by skate culture, hip-hop and manga, into clothes and accessories that speak to today’s generations.
On the program: leather jackets adorned with bold typography, brightly colored sweatshirts, reinvented varsity jackets, and a series of unisex garments that blur traditional gender boundaries.
Women will be offered polo dresses and cardigans emblazoned with the “KENZO Paris” logo, while men can sport knit sweaters and oversized t-shirts.
But the real innovation lies in the accessibility of the collection. To mark this collaboration, Kenzo will open an exclusive pop-up store on the Champs-Élysées in Paris from December 2 to 17, 2024, before continuing the adventure at 10 Corso Como in Seoul from December 16 to 26, 2024. An initiative that promises to seduce fashion lovers from all horizons.
By blending the rebellious spirit of Verdy with the refinement of Kenzo, this collection doesn’t just dress up: it tells a story, that of a modern fusion where luxury adopts urban codes to celebrate diversity and inclusivity.
