On the occasion of the Jardins, Jardin event, the Maison CHANEL signs a plant parenthesis of rare poetry within the confidential park of the villa Windsor, nestled in the 16ᵉ arrondissement of Paris. From May 22 to 25, 2025, visitors are invited to enjoy an immersive olfactory experience over nearly 300 m² of lush nature, orchestrated as a vibrant tribute to the botanical and cultural richness of New Caledonia.
At the heart of this sensory scenography: sandalwood austrocaledonicum, a precious and emblematic sandalwood from the island of Maré, an essential component of some of the House’s most iconic fragrances. In this ephemeral garden resembling a primary forest, CHANEL tells a story, that of an invisible link between red earth, sacred wood and ancestral know-how, sublimating the traditions of Kanak culture in a green setting in the heart of the city.
Conceived as a sensory voyage, this timeless place evokes the power of nature, the House’scommitment to sustainability, and its ability to transform the invisible into emotion.
A suspended moment, immortalized by photographer Jamie Hawkesworth, who captures the magic of this encounter between haute parfumerie and the land of its origins, wild beauty and artisanal excellence.
An open-air celebration that reminds us, once again, that at CHANEL, every fragrance is an adventure, and every ingredient a living treasure.
