RM 033 Extra-Flat Automatic Watch

With an extra-flat movement, the goal of this watch is to be especially elegant and subtle. The entire virtuosity of a master watchmaker resides in the capacity to accomplish something that is almost invisible. As a result, all of the constraints of creation are made even more difficult due to the small size.

One of the characteristics of the extra-flat automatic RM 033 resides in the off-center disposition of the micro-rotor on the interior of the automatic caliber RMXP1. This construction gains several precious millimeters in the overall height of the watch, which has a 33mm movement with a thickness of just 2.60mm, making the case just 6.30mm deep. To ensure a perfect distribution of the parts and optimal functioning, the off-center mono-bloc micro rotor is made of platinum and is bidirectional. This allows for the barrel to be efficiently rewound, and helps create the compact global dimensions for this skeletal, extra-flat movement. The caliber RMXP1 comprises 29 rubies and a frequency of 3Hz.
