To mark European Sustainable Development Week, the Ritz Paris unveils a project that is both artistic and eco-responsible: its very first collection of upcycled jewelry, designed from fragments of its famous Marthe porcelain dinner service.
These unique pieces reflect timeless elegance while embodying the luxury industry’s growing commitment to sustainability.
An unprecedented transformation for a noble cause
Under the impetus of the Place Vendôme palace, damaged porcelain fragments are reinvented as delicate jewelry, testifying to the marriage between art and responsibility. By partnering with La Fabrique Nomade , a workshop dedicated to the integration of refugee and migrant artisans, the Ritz is highlighting traditional know-how while offering a second life to precious materials.
La Fabrique Nomade is an organization that supports refugee and migrant artisans in France, offering them opportunities to practice their craft and share their unique talents. This project enables them to showcase their skills while promoting their social and professional integration.
Flora Coquerel, former Miss France 2014, is a personality committed to humanitarian and social projects. As a special envoy, she takes you behind the scenes of this exceptional collaboration.
Through her report, discover the journey of the craftsmen who, with meticulous expertise, transform Marthe tableware into veritable portable works of art.
A solidarity project to support
Jewelry from this collection will be available from October 15 at the Ritz Paris Concept Store, for all lovers of luxury and ethical creations. This project is more than just an artistic endeavor: all profits from sales will be donated to La Fabrique Nomade, in support of their mission to promote the social and professional integration of migrant artisans.
By taking part in this initiative, buyers themselves become players in this beautiful story where luxury, solidarity and sustainable development come together.
Be sure to visit the Concept Store from October 15 and, for the curious, follow Flora Coquerel ‘s full report on her account @floracoquerel.
