Please respect the danger signs!   Would you like to discover an unusual, unexpected place in St Barth?   Lace up your sneakers and follow the path from Petit Cul de Sac that leads to the natural pools, a magnificent unspoiled spot with translucid turquoise water and a panoramic view of the ocean. These natural pools are not very well known, as they are located behind the rocks where the water runs clear. It’s about a 30-minute walk to get this idyllic locale in St Barth, following the coastline and its beautiful beaches, but it is certainly worth the detour.   You’ll also want to visit the natural pools in Grand Fond, the only place of its kind on the island.   ©Camellia Menard

Would you like to feel as if you are far away from reality?   Breathe deeply and set out on a 30-minute walk along a high path with a magnificent view overlooking the ocean and neighboring islands. You’ll pass by the beach in Grand Fond to reach the natural pools, also known as Washing Machine, a legendary landmark in St. Barth. Once you have gotten there, relax and discover this fabulous spot where you can swim in a perfect paradise protected from the waves by large rock formations.   And don’t miss the natural pools in Petit Cul de Sac, another unique corner of the island.
